Results from the Forward Sunapee Planning & Zoning Committee survey held at the in-person meeting on May 28th. Click here for the survey questions for reference. The survey results were as follows:

• Total Respondents: 95 of about 100 attending the meeting
• 95 answered question 1 and 94 answered question 2
  • Percent voting in favor of maintaining a quintessential New England village look in the proposed Waterfront District: 87 of 95, or 92%
  • Percent voting in favor of a Waterfront Design Advisory Committee: 86 of 94, or 91%
  • Percent in favor of both maintaining a quintessential New England village look and a Waterfront Design Advisory Committee: 82 of 94, or 87%
  • Percent voting against both maintaining a quintessential New England village and establishing a Waterfront Design Advisory Committee:  4 of 94, or 4%
